ABOUT DESIGN PRECAST & PIPE, INC.

In 2004, Design Precast, Inc. was created to fill a need for a superior precast concrete product.  Over the next few years, because of their commitment to quality and customer service, demand for DPI products grew and Design Precast, Inc. became the market leader for precast concrete drainage structures and sewer manholes.  But the story doesn’t end there.

While the concrete structure segment of the Design Precast, Inc. business was growing, customers began asking Pat Fore, III, founder of DPI “will Design Precast, Inc. begin to manufacture reinforced concrete pipe?”  Pat’s answer was ‘yes’, but with a pledge to make a pipe that would be superior in quality, be available for immediate delivery, but be more productive than any other concrete pipe yet produced.

So with his answer, in April of 2008 with the opening of their first pipe plant, Design Precast, Inc. was transformed from a local precaster into Design Precast & Pipe, Inc., a regional manufacturer of precast concrete drainage / sewerage structures as well as reinforced concrete and arch pipe.  The Incorporated Cable Lifter or ICL, standard in the RCP and RCAP, is a patented device that is just another example of the commitment that Pat Fore, III, Chris Fore and the whole family at Design Precast & Pipe, Inc. have made to the heavy civil contractor.
